Dolphin Abrasive Proof Marine Seal for Dolphin Pumps

The Dolphin Abrasive Proof Marine Seal is a silicon carbide seal designed exclusively for Dolphin Pumps. It is the lowest maintanence, hardest mechanical seal available. This seal is designed to be a magnetic drive alternative (MDA) providing the reliablilty of a magnetic drive pump without the maintanence. The Dolphin Abrasive Proof Marine Seal is recommended for use in reef systems and other waters containing abrasive sands and additives. With proper pre filtration, this seal is designed to last from 4 to 12 years.
