Description: Perhaps one of the most beautiful Cirrhilabrus,
the Lineatus is found only on the Great Barrier Reef toff Australia.
They are very colorful, peaceful fish, that are not seen too
often in the aquarium hobby. Found in isolated areas of outer
reefs in deep water, collectors work much harder going deeper
and searching for this highly desired species. One of the sturdier
Cirrhilabrus in the aquarium. They make an ideal, peaceful choice
for the reef aquarium. Cirrhilabrus lineatus is collected infrequently,
in small quantities.

Tank size:
The Lineatus Fairy Wrasse
is a very peaceful, active fish that will bring both color and
activity to a fish-only or reef aquarium of 90 gallons or larger.
They will not harm corals or invertebrates making them the ideal
candidate for the reef aquarium. These wrasse like to jump, so
a tight fitting canopy is recommended.
Food and
diet:When first introduced
into the aquarium, live saltwater feeder shrimp should be used
to entice this fish to eat. Meals should consist of a variety
of feeder shrimp, flaked foods, and marine meats.

Quite simply one of the most beautiful fish available to the
marine hobbyist!
Description: The Hawaiian Flame Wrasse is probably
the most popular and least available Cirrhilabrus. Jump on it
immediately when available. The Hawaiian Flame Wrasse will add
a dramatic splash of color to any reef aquarium. Provide it with
plenty of live rock and live sand. It is a very peaceful wrasse
and can be housed with a wide variety of reef fish, including
other small wrasse. A great reef fish, it is often seen cruising
all over the tank looking for food. Totally harmless to corals,
clams, and ornamental invertebrates, It will help to control
pyramidellid snails, and flat worms which are harmful to clams.
Do not keep it with aggressive predators, or larger aggressive
wrasses.
Temperament:
Easy going, mellow fish.
Gets along with all other tank inhabitants.

Ruby Head
Fairy Wrasse
(Cirrhilabrus sp)
Description: The Ruby Head Fairy Wrasse is also known
as the Yellow Flanked Fairy Wrasse, Purplehead Parrot Wrasse,
or the Blue Sided Fairy Wrasse. This species varies in coloration
from a red and blue coloration, to a deep maroon and deep blue
coloration. More often than not this species will have a pale
underside. Please expect variations in coloration with these
fish, as the intensity of coloration and patterns vary with the
location in their natural habitat, and their mood.
